As a photographer, I have used a variety of Dene’s models and talent over the years for fashion and commercial photoshoots. Dene Selby is my agency of choice, due to the wide variety of talent, the attention to detail, the excellent communication, and the reliability and professional attitude of the models.
I can see how supportive and caring Dene is of her models in the way they all rave about her during the photoshoot and I know she always gives them feedback and positive reinforcement after their work with me. Thank you Dene, I have enjoyed the past several years working with you and your team and look forward to many more!
My daughter Azure Portman has been in Dene Selby Model School now for a year and a half
When Azure first entered the Agency she was shy and withdrawn and was finding it hard to find friends. Since being with Dene, Azure has made friends with some lovely young women who have been an encouragement and inspiration to Azure.
I have witnessed Azure develop in Confidence & hold herself Graciously in difficult situations. Azure has become a lot more motivated and organised through the importance Dene places on personal responsibilities, both on the professional scale as a developing model and in private life. The Agency is affordable in today’s standard, Dene wants her services to be reachable.
I have never heard Dene put any emphasis on labels or expensive clothing for the Graduation. In fact, Azure has worn clothes that were already in her wardrobe. Dene has a proven track record of professional development for her students and is of a high calibre. My personal view of Dene is that she is a Generous, Sensitive, and Caring person who is a Great & Inspiring teacher and a woman of beauty inside and out.
Dene has been an incredible role model
Dene has been an incredible role model and supporter of Pierrot’s Model Search since our very first event in 2008. I hold Dene in the highest respect giving so much of herself to better her students.
Dene has gone above and beyond to have the best submissions for her students and her students have won & placed on many occasions. Many of her students who are still house models for us have gone on to achieve amazing things in the modelling world. Love Dene beautiful inside and out.

My 14 year old daughter has been attending classes with Dene for a year and a half now and recently she said she wished she could go to classes with Dene every day! She just loves it.
Being 14 is not easy and Dene has made it easier for Helena, she helped her to believe in herself and know how beautiful she is, inside and out! I’m so happy to have found these classes as besides teaching Helena how to carry herself it has also enabled her to meet other lovely girls her age and introduced her to the world of fashion. We just went to see the Collette Dinnigan exhibition in Sydney and it was a joy to see how interested she was in it. Well done Dene.

I have known Dene a long time throughout my working career, in which I was involved very much in the modelling world. As years went on and I had a daughter who eventually decided she wanted to gain some confidence and do modelling I suggested Dene.
In the years that my daughter was with Dene, I found Dene to be nothing but professional, focused, and nurturing to not only my daughter but to all the students. I would never hesitate to recommend Dene to any child or adult that wants to learn to walk a catwalk, build confidence, and perhaps just learn a little bit of etiquette. You are amazing Dene
